A Community with Mission

We are BAJCA

Bihar and Jharkhand Association of Canada (BAJCA) is a registered, non-profit organization of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) created in 2010. It has been working towards bringing friends and families together from Bihar, Jharkhand and Eastern Uttar Pradesh for the last several years.

BAJCA organizes several programs during the year such as Makar Sankranti, Holi, Summer Picnic, Dushehra/Diwali, and Chatt Puja to bring cheer and celebrate festivals together in the GTA. The year starts with Makar Sankranti and ends with Chhath Puja, which is attended by many guests from here and neighborhood province. In our cultural programs, we encourage the next generation to demonstrate their talents and exhibit their skills.

Get Involved

Children are at high risk of severe malnutrition and no education. There are a few ways to get involved with Bihar and the Jharkhand Association of Canada. The easiest way is to visit their website and donate. They are always in need of funds to support their initiatives.

A great way to get involved is by volunteering your time. There are many opportunities available, such as helping out at fundraising events, or mentoring children who are living in poverty.

This is an excellent way to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Another important way to help is by spreading awareness about the work that BAJCA is doing.
